The contribution was made by the Chefimam on August 26th, 2021 today, barely a month after the government encouraged every Ghanaian to contribute GH ¢ 100 to the project.
Vice President Bawumia encouraged Christians to help make the National Cathedral a reality as it is a building dedicated to the glory of God.
When he joined the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in Adabraka, Accra last Sunday, Bawumia hired religious organizations and the church to volunteer to help build the National Cathedral.
“I beg you to make your voice heard in the national discourse. The nation needs independent voices like yours. Rest assured that you are on God’s side and that He will watch over you. “
“I want to make one point before I sit down. As you all know, there are efforts to build a national cathedral. It is very important that we build the cathedral, it is a voluntary exercise, anyone who wants to contribute can contribute. “
“I’ve contributed and I will add more, so I encourage everyone to think about it and get us built. It is not for anyone, it is for Ghana and for the glory of God. “
