The head of research and planning, COP Kofi Boakye, has been given a new job at the Ghanaian police service.
The former Ashanti Regional police commander has now been moved to Legal and Prosecutions in the latest police reshuffle.
He replaces COP Prosper Agblor, who retired a few weeks ago.
The regional regional commander, DCOP Paul Manly Awini, will replace COP Boakye and will carry out the transformation in addition to research and planning.
The shake also affected the role of the officials, including the regional regional police commander, DCOP, Afful Boakye Yiadom, who is now commander of the Accra regional police.
Accra Regional Police Commandant, DCOP Frederick Adu Anim, is now Director General of ICT.
He takes over the position of COP Simon Afeku, who also retired a few weeks ago.
Oti’s regional commander, DCOP Osei Asibey Ahenkan, has been transferred from the region and replaced by Charles Domanban from DCOP.
The deputy commander of the central regional police, DCOP Enoch Adutwum Bediako, is now the head of the region.
