The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration confirmed late Wednesday the death of Eudora Hilda Quartey Koranteng, Ghana’s ambassador to Italy, who is also accredited to Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro and the FAO.
A statement signed by Daniel O. Okaiteye, the ministry’s administrative director, said the sector minister “today, October 20, 2021, led a team of ministry officials to the late ambassador’s residence.
“In this regard, the Ministry extends our common and sincere condolences to the family of the late ambassador.
“May the good God grant eternal rest to the late ambassador Eudora Quartey-Koranten,” concluded the statement.

She was appointed the country’s representative in Italy by President Akufo-Addo in 2019.
Eudora Quartey-Koranteng succeeded Paulina Patience Abayage after she was removed from office by President Akufo-Addo as Minister of the Upper East Region.
