Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has asked Ghanaians to support the police in their hard work to prove that there are laws in Ghana and that no one is above them.

In response to the arrests this week, Lydia Forson said it was a good sign and proof that the new administration was working extremely hard.

‘Obviously @GhPoliceService is working extremely hard to prove that no one is above the law; their commitment should not be overlooked, but rather be praised. May I suggest that the safest way for people to BELIEVE this is to hold lawmakers equally accountable for their actions. ‘

“I also hope that we can not only use hashtags to free people, that others are held in custody not just because of feelings, but because of the law. I don’t like what you said / did doesn’t mean a law has been broken. And if we really want it to get better, we have to do our part, ”she continued.

Police arrested three celebrities this week for various crimes.

Shatta Wale and three of his team members were detained for posting false news that caused fear and panic.
