The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, said his government would remain determined in its mission to address the socio-economic needs of the people.

“It was my policy to go on the premises and listen to the concerns of the citizens.

“The government is about the well-being of the people,” said the president, assuring that his government would advance the good cause of the state in order to change the lives of Ghanaians for the better.

In an address to the chiefs and people of Akropong in the Ashanti region, he cited the implementation of numerous development projects across the country and said that these initiatives were aimed at bringing prosperity to the citizens.

President Nana Akufo-Addo is on a four-day tour of the region to meet people and inspect ongoing infrastructure projects in areas such as education, roads, industry and health, and sports facilities.

In Dabaa he visited the construction of the JA Kufour Senior High School (SHS), an institution in honor of the former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufour.

He also visited Atwima-Boko to see the expansion of the 15.2 kilometer Kwadaso Trabuom Road, a project being carried out by Messrs Asabea Engineering Limited.

Another project visited on the second day of the President’s tour was the Darko Farms Poultry Processing Plant, under the government’s One District, One Factory, and SHS Creative Arts construction site in Kwadaso.

President Nana Akufo-Addo said the government would effectively monitor the work on social services in various communities across the country.

This is to ensure their successful completion in order to improve the living conditions of the beneficiaries.
