Ghana Premier League The new boys Bibiani Gold Stars will begin their journey to the Premier League tomorrow when they welcome former champions Berekum Chelsea to Dun’s Park.

Gold Stars, who are competing in the Ghana Premier League for the first time in the club’s history, were the first team in all three Division 1 zones to qualify for the Premier League from the Division 1 season last season.

The Golden Boys, as they are affectionately known by their fans, will go out of their way to welcome Berekum Chelsea to Dun’s Park.

The goal, according to the club’s CEO, is to stay in the Premier League and they will do everything in their power to make it happen.

Chelsea go into the new season without his talisman Stephen Amankona, who moved to the Porcupine Warriors, and also without midfield maestro Ushau Abu, who moved to Champions Hearts of Oak.

However, the former GPL champions still boast top-notch players in their ranks who are spoiling the party for the new top tier boys.

Gold Stars took part in the first edition of the DOL Super Cup and it would have served the team as preparation for the new season.

The kick-off is on Sunday at 3 p.m.
