Ghana’s coach Milovan Rajevac has named his starting XI for the important qualifying match for the 2022 FIFA World Cup against Zimbabwe at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.

The Serbian continues to have faith in Swindon Town goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott as the 25-year-old gets the chance to make his second appearance for the Black Stars. Striker Benjamin Tetteh got a starting role when Andre Ayew fell on the bench.

Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey will continue his provisional role as right-back while Baba Rahman begins as left-back ahead of Girondins de Bordeaux defender Gideon Mensah. In the meantime, Alexander Djiku and Jonathan Mensah will work together on central defense.

Jojo Wollacott – Daniel Amartey, Baba Rahman, Jonathan Mensah, Alexander Djiku – Baba Iddrisu Mohammed, Thomas Partey, Kudus Mohammed – Benjamin Tetteh, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Jordan Ayew.
