Tom Cruise’s BMW was stolen while filming scenes for the upcoming film Mission: Impossible in Birmingham, police said.

The X7 was picked up from Church Street but was found a short time later in Smethwick, a few miles away.

The investigation continues, West Midlands police said.

The Grand Central shopping mall will become Abu Dhabi’s airport

The car reportedly had several thousand pounds worth of goods and luggage belonging to the Hollywood actor and his entourage when it was stolen Tuesday.

The vehicle used to orbit the star was parked on Church Street in front of the grand hotel where Cruise stayed, according to The Sun.

He has been in England for the past few months directing the latest installment in the action film franchise.

Cruise used the Grand Central shopping center in Birmingham, which is the Abu Dhabi airport for the production of Mission: Impossible 7.

During the week, crowds gathered to get a glimpse of the actor filming in front of a row of shops above the main concourse of the station.

Cruise, 59, who is repeating his role as Ethan Hunt, has been spotted in and around town in the past few days.

The Birmingham Transport Police shared a picture of the masked film star with two officers with the message, “I promise you this is not Photoshop.”

A few days ago he was pictured in an Indian restaurant where he enjoyed his chicken tikka masala so much that he ordered the curry a second time after finishing the first serving.

He also reportedly used a family’s garden in nearby Warwickshire when he flew into the area by helicopter while Coventry Airport was temporarily closed.

In April, images emerged of a railway line built in a quarry in Derbyshire – which is said to be included in the film – which ran to an abyss in an open pit near Stoney Middleton in the Peak District.

Cruise also enjoyed himself at Wimbledon, Euro 2020 and Silverstone for Formula 1 this summer.
