Despite the strong start to the 2022 World Cup qualification, Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos insists on further improving his team.
South Africa regained control of Group G on Tuesday evening and defeated Ethiopia 1-0 at the FNB Stadium.
The guests had more than 60% possession of the ball at the end of the game.
“Little by little; the group I will work with will be found in the next few months, maybe years,” said Broos.
“But we’re still looking for better players because we certainly still have some weaknesses in our group.
“It would be a miracle that after two months of work you had a great team straight away.
“It’s impossible so we have to keep working as a technical team to see more games and see more good players who can bring more quality to our team.
“But in general I can say now that we are not that far from the group of players that we will continue to work on for the next months or years.”
