World Cup qualification: GFA President calls for teamwork before the game against Ethiopia
The President of the Ghanaian Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has the Black Stars players are said to work together as a team to be successful against Ethiopia.
Prior to Friday’s encounter, the GFA president paid the team a courtesy call, telling them to play as a unit if they want to be successful and send Ghana to the country of promise, ie the World Cup.
“Preparations for the games begin from here. It is so important that everyone has the vision in mind and the vision is to qualify for the Mundial ”- Kurt told the team
“It will not take just my effort, or his effort, or your efforts to bring us to the promised land. It will take our combined efforts. Therefore, if you are selected to play on Friday, you have to play as a unit. ”- He continued,
“It will not be easy, but each of you has a responsibility to encourage one another from the start to make our dream come true. It won’t be easy again, but if we stay as a unit we will get through this fight. ”- Kurt concluded.
Ghana meet Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and the 2010 World Cup hosts, South Africa, and have to win the group to have any chance of qualifying for the finals.
